Argument

Required/Optional Description

Required The required <objects> argument

speciﬁes a list of objects to append to

the current selection. Objects must be

prepended with object type preﬁxes (see

”ﬁnd” command).

set active impl

set active impl <implName> [-project <arg>]

This command sets the active implementation for the current ACE session. The active implementation

controls which implementation the ﬂow and project management commands are operating on.

Argument Required/Optional Description

<implName> Required The required <implName>

argument is used to specify the

name of the implementation to

set as the active implementation.

[-project <arg>] Optional The optional -project

<projectName> option is used

to specify an alternate project

(by name) for the active

implementation to be set in.

set clock groups

set clock groups [-name <arg>] [-group <args>] [-asynchronous] [-exclusive]

[-physically exclusive] [-logically exclusive]

Deﬁne clock groups. With one -group, the clocks in that group have a false path from/to all other clocks.

With multiple -group options, the clocks in each group have a false path from/to the clocks in the other

groups. The groups have no meaning outside this command.

[-name <arg>] Optional Name of clock group

[-group <args>] Optional set of clocks

[-asynchronous] Optional clocks are unrelated (default)

[-exclusive] Optional clocks cannot both be active at

the same time

[-physically exclusive] Optional clocks can physically not both be

active at the same time

[-logically exclusive] Optional clocks can logically not both be

active at the same time
